SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

Dirt and Diamonds has voted to create two $500 scholarships, one for Softball and one for Baseball. We ask that the following information be shared with graduating Seniors. For our first year we have limited the eligibility criteria and plan to expand for next year.

Eligibility requirements:

**Student must be a baseball or softball player for CCHS.

** Student must be a graduating Senior of CCHS 2026

**Student must submit a 700 minimum word essay to our email address by noon on April 22, 2026. Topic will be “How has playing baseball/softball will impact your life as an adult, what life lessons will be carried into adulthood.”

**Parent must be a paid member of the Dirt and Diamond Booster Club. (A parent can still pay their dues to join in order for student to be eligible for the Scholarship.) Click here to check if you are a member. Click here to become a member

Essays will be numbered to remain anonymous and are sent to an anonymous educator to be judged. Winners of the Scholarship will be announced during the end of year 2026 banquet.
